# Avalara AvaTax

Reach uses Avalara AvaTax to manage your taxes

Avalara connects to your store and syncs with a Reach-managed Avalara account. Reach ensures your store displays accurate VAT, GST, and sales tax calculations to your customers.

# Connect the Avalara app to Chargebee

Follow the instructions below to connect the Avalara app to Chargebee:

1. Sign in to <Anchor target="_blank" href="https://app.chargebee.com/sites/select">Chargebee</Anchor>.
2. Click **Apps**.
3. Click the **Go to Marketplace** button in the upper-right corner.
4. Select the **Tax Management&#x20;**&#x6F;ption.

5. Click **Avalara**.
6. Click **Connect**.
7. Click **Manage preferences**.
8. Under **Connect to Avalara**, click **Update**. Enter the credentials provided by your Reach representative.
9. Click **Connect**.
10. Under **Organization Address**, verify that the organizational address is correct. If it is not, click **Change address** and enter the address provided by your Reach representative.

11. Based on your business, turn on the appropriate option for **Shipping Address Validation**.

12. Under  **Configure Sync Rules**, toggle off **Allow Chargebee to post invoices and credit notes to Avalara**.

13. Click **Apply Changes**.

You have successfully integrated Avalara AvaTax with Chargebee.
