# Payout summary report

Learn what your payout summary report is and how to use it

The payout summary report consolidates settlement payouts for each settlement period.

This report is an aggregate of the data found on your settlement details report. The report is a structured summary—not a transaction-level report.

Only eligible suppliers will receive a payout summary report.

## How to use your payout summary report

You can use this report to:

* Reconcile payout deposits to transaction-level settlement totals
* Reconcile summary payouts in batches

It also functions as a reverse invoice for your tax and accounting purposes.

### Reverse invoice

Under the reseller model, Reach purchases your products, which would ordinarily mean you need to issue Reach an invoice for each payout. To save you that step, Reach generates a payout summary report that acts as a reverse invoice (also called a self-billed invoice).

It documents the details of Reach's purchase, including the amounts, currencies, and payout totals, so it can serve as the record of the transaction.

## Payout summary delivery

Reports are delivered to suppliers via the [Reach Admin Portal.](https://docs.withreach.com/docs/reach-admin-portal)

For each payout, Reach automatically adds the corresponding payout summary report to your Admin portal as soon as it is available for download.

It is provided in accordance with your settlement schedule alongside your [settlement detail report](https://docs.withreach.com/docs/settlement-reports). You will receive one report per designated settlement currency.

To learn how to access and download your reports, review the Reach Admin [Reports](https://docs.withreach.com/docs/reports) page.

## Payout summary format

The report is provided as a CSV file. The file name uses the following format: `{YYYYMMDD}_{Supplier}_{Currency}_PAYOUT_SUMMARY.csv` .

### Structure

The report is broken into three sections of rows:

1. Rows 1 to 8 contain metadata (such as the report name and date) and supplier information.
2. Row 9 details the payout for the settlement period, including reseller information.
3. Row 10 summarizes the total payout amounts.
