Avalara AvaTax

Reach uses Avalara AvaTax to manage your taxes

Avalara connects to your store and syncs with a Reach-managed Avalara account. Reach ensures your store displays accurate VAT, GST, and sales tax calculations to your customers.

Get your credentials

Your Reach representative will provide you with credentials to your configured Avalara AvaTax account through Reach. These are required to complete the following steps during the go-live call. To recieve your credentials, contact [email protected] or your Reach representative.

Connect the Avalara app to Chargebee

Follow the instructions below to connect the Avalara app to Chargebee:

  1. Sign in to Chargebee.
  2. Click Apps.
  3. Click the Go to Marketplace button in the upper-right corner.

  1. Click Tax Management.

  1. Click Avalara.

  1. Click Connect.
  2. Click Manage preferences.
  3. Under Connect to Avalara, click Update. Enter the credentials provided by your Reach representative.
  4. Click Connect.
  5. Under Organization Address, verify that the organizational address is correct. If it is not, click Change address and enter the address provided by your Reach representative.

  1. Based on your business, turn on the appropriate option for Shipping Address Validation.

  1. Under Configure Sync Rules, toggle off Allow Chargebee to post invoices and credit notes to Avalara.

  1. Click Apply Changes.

You have successfully integrated Avalara AvaTax with Chargebee.
