Reach integrates with PayPal via Chargebee's subscription management platform, enabling suppliers to access multiple payment options and accept payments in a single, unified platform.

Get your credentials

Before you begin the integration process, you need your credentials and configured PayPal account. Your Reach representative will provide your credentials. If you have not received your configured PayPal account, contact [email protected] or your sales representative.

Add the PayPal gateway to Chargebee

To begin using the Reach MoR solution, add the PayPal gateway to Chargebee using your Reach credentials.

Chargebee's PayPal documentation provides detailed information about their PayPal integration. Review the Configuring PayPal Commerce section for Chargebee's instructions on connecting the PayPal gateway.

The instructions below are specific to Reach's integration with Chargebee. Ensure all steps below are completed for a correct configuration with Reach. Follow the instructions to add the PayPal gateway using Reach provided credentials:

  1. Sign in to Chargebee.
  2. Select Payments from the side navigation bar and select Payment gateways.
  3. Click + Add Gateway.
  4. Click PayPal.
  5. Click Connect to an existing account.
  6. Enter the user credentials and region provided by your Reach representative and click Next.
  7. Return to the Payment Gateways page and click PayPal.
  8. Under Payment methods toggle on PayPal.
  9. Under Advanced Configurations, click the Manage link.
  1. Write a business description in the text field. The description you add here is displayed in the checkout screen.
  2. Click Save.
  3. To update the Display Name, click the edit icon next to the current display name, enter a name, and click Save.

You have successfully integrated PayPal with Chargebee.
